Our Story
Thank you for your interest in Tufsteen French Bulldogs.
We are a small, ethical breeding program run by Paul and Mandy from our property near Ballarat, Victoria. Our French Bulldogs are raised in our home alongside our other animals, including our miniature painted sheep. They are part of our family—not kennel dogs—and are raised with the care, socialisation and attention every puppy deserves.
Together, Paul and Mandy bring more than 20 years of combined experience in the animal industry — including around 15 years dedicated specifically to breeding French Bulldogs. Paul is a qualified Animal Technician.

Our Breeding Philosophy
Health. Temperament. A Brighter Future.
Every breeding is carefully planned using imported bloodlines and generations of proven pedigrees. Health, temperament and breed type are the foundation of every decision we make, ensuring each litter contributes positively to the future of the breed.
We breed for quality, not quantity. Our pricing reflects the significant investment made before a puppy is ever born, including imported bloodlines, comprehensive health testing, responsible breeding practices and raising every puppy to the highest standard. For this reason, our prices are not negotiable.
Every Puppy Receives
Each Tufsteen puppy leaves for its new home at 8 weeks of age (unless otherwise agreed) and includes:
Our Puppy Sales Agreement
Our Puppy Sales Agreement is provided before a deposit is taken, allowing prospective owners time to read and understand the commitment involved. We encourage questions and want every family to feel confident before welcoming a Tufsteen puppy into their home.
Interstate Homes
We are happy to assist families throughout Australia and can arrange interstate transport at the purchaser’s expense. While we work with experienced transport providers whenever possible, transport remains the responsibility of the new owner.
Visiting Tufsteen
To protect the health and welfare of our dogs and puppies, we no longer offer general visits to meet our dogs.
Visits are welcomed once:
This policy helps protect our puppies from disease, reduces unnecessary stress, and provides greater security for our dogs and our family.
Thank you for considering Tufsteen. We appreciate the trust our families place in us and are always happy to answer questions as you begin your journey of welcoming a French Bulldog into your home.
